2025 Incheon Open Port International Photography Festival (South Korea): A Global Spectacle of Art and Culture Through the Lens

Sabanci University FASS/VAVCD faculty member, Dr. Yoong Wah Alex Wong and students, Ali Ozgun Akyuz and Ayşe Beraa Ozcan, and alumna, Belmin Pilevneli and Neslihan Koyuncu photography series are showcased at Incheon Open Port International Photography Festival, South Korea, from 2nd till 14th August, 2025.

 

The 2025 Incheon World University Photo Festival, held in the global top-tier city of Incheon, is the world’s largest university photography festival, featuring the participation of 277 students from 63 universities and 75 professors from 52 universities around the globe.

Under the theme “Identity of Photography,” this festival serves as a platform to share the artistic achievements of faculty and students from various international universities. It offers a valuable opportunity to explore the future value and materiality of photographic art on a global scale. Furthermore, the event aims to foster the development of photography education, expand communication and collaboration among artists worldwide.
